Working from home can be a blessing and a curse! Do you find it hard to maintain productivity when working from home?
It’s harder than most people think because you need to be disciplined which is hard. And sometimes it’s hard to switch off work mode because you are in the same location all day.
Having your day planned out is a great way to make sure you focus on your priorities. You may not always stick to the plan completely, but you tend to get more tasks completed when they are written down.
Not to mention it’s easy to procrastinate and find something else to do instead of what you need to be working on.
So here are three simple things you can do to boost productivity when working from home.
- Time block your schedule and assign 2-3 priorities to each week and assign specific tasks to your time blocks so that you can get more done by doing less.
- Take breaks throughout the day to give your brain a chance to rest and re-set. Then you can tackle tasks you have for that day.
- Create some sexy systems which will save you time and energy because things will get done automatically while you focus on other tasks.
I expand on these three hacks in episode 26 of the podcast. Be sure to tune in for a special offer!
